Vodnjan, July 8, 2026 – Global cloud communications platform Infobip hosted the Ambiti8n technical workshop at its campus in Vodnjan, bringing together partners from several European countries as part of the IPCEI-CIS (Important Project of Common European Interest – Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure and Services) initiative.

Participants worked on integrating various European technology components and developing cloud and AI solutions that can operate across different technology environments, without relying on a single service provider.

One of the workshop’s key outcomes was an agreement to continue developing healthcare solutions as part of the Ambiti8n project. The partners also aligned on the next steps for advancing the project and explored opportunities to apply the jointly developed technologies in other sectors, including energy and agriculture.

## IPCEI-CIS: A Foundation for Europe's Digital Sovereignty

The IPCEI-CIS initiative is one of Europe's most significant technology projects, aimed at building a cloud infrastructure founded on transparency to deliver services that are aligned with European standards and future-ready. The project brings together more than 100 companies and research institutions from 12 European Union member states. As part of the initiative, Infobip is developing a next-generation communications platform designed to advance digital communications.

The workshop in Vodnjan once again underscored the importance of collaboration between European technology companies, research institutions, and industry partners in developing the solutions that will form the foundation of the next generation of European cloud and AI infrastructure. It also highlighted Infobip’s role as one of the leading innovators in Europe’s technology landscape.
