Infobip's Email Deliverability Agent is an AI-powered conversational assistant designed to help email senders improve inbox placement and delivery rates, and diagnose deliverability problems. It is built into Infobip's Email Deliverability Center and analyzes a customer's actual email-sending data in real time.

For businesses without a dedicated deliverability specialist, it not only helps to identify issues affecting delivery rates but offers suggestions for resolving them. This gives both email marketers and operations managers the tools to improve the effectiveness and reliability of their email communication where previously they might have had to request help from the IT team or expensive external consultants.

For larger companies that already have human deliverability expertise, the agent acts as an intelligent assistant that is able to perform much of the analysis and help staff to be more effective.

The advantage of email as a B2C communication tool is that it generates detailed and easily accessible deliverability data. Unlike SMS and OTT messaging apps, a business can tell exactly when an email has been delivered and opened, or if it has bounced then the reason for the failure. The problem for businesses that send a lot of messages is the extremely high volume of data that is generated.

Traditionally this data is exported into a relational database or Excel spreadsheet and summarized in large grids or dashboards, which a person needs to review to check that email campaigns are running smoothly. If there is a problem, for example a spike in bounce rates for a particular email domain, then an expert would need to dig into the data to isolate the cause of the problem and take steps to fix it.

Mailgun

Mailgun's Optimize suite combines inbox placement testing, email validation, reputation monitoring, and deliverability analytics. SendGrid

SendGrid is more conservative in its use of AI for deliverability. Its platform provides extensive deliverability data, authentication guidance, and engagement monitoring, but much of the interpretation still relies on users or deliverability specialists.

While all vendors have access to the same set of underlying data, many still require users to work through static dashboards, and grids of raw data.

These warnings are easily hard coded using rules that generate a warning if a key rate drops below a certain level e.g. Delivery Rate below 96% or Open Rate below 30%.

When a KPI is crashing and a campaign is in danger of missing a KPI, the email marketer just wants to know what they should do and what to fix first.

However, Gmail is one of many mailbox providers globally. They may be the biggest, but many sources estimate that only 35-40% of email users globally use Gmail for their main email account. For the other 60-65%, Postmaster is on a level playing field with no advantage over other vendors.
